So, I've gotten a few nudges to to let you all know what's been going on so I stared to feel guilty and unburried myself for a bit to let you all know what's going on.

Life has been upside down crazy here. Not bad crazy, just crazy in the sense that I have had little to no time for anything other than work and school. Sometimes I sleep. Sometimes I get my house cleaned. Other times I'm not sure what I do other than start off into space before remembering I have to run to go do something else.

I can't complain though. I love my job, I'm floating at a country club. I have been going between housekeeping manager and Landscaping assitant. In both places, I love my boss and the members love me as well. I actually have enjoyed getting up and going to work for the past 2 months. The pay isn't terrible and my thoughts on it at the moment are I like what I do and I enjoy who I work with, so why complain. I could seriously be doing much worse.

Things with George and I are excellent. We just signed a contract with a realestate agent to buy a home, which is really exciting. Other than that, there's not too much news here.

So George and I spent Christmas morning in Jenson Beach on the water drinking mimosas. I had to laugh really hard.. I got carded. I'm still not old enough to appreciate it and George feels like a child stalker when it happens but oh well.

The morning was beautiful. Dolphins playing, beautiful weather, awesome company. Who could ask for more?

I will share the horrors of Christmas Eve later. Right now I'm still basking. :)

When I got up this morning it was kinda chilly. Around 51? It was really nice.

It can't compare to lunch time today. Chilly breeze, no clouds, lots of sunshine... Made me itch to go outside. I sat in my car for about half an hour enjoying the crisp air and the hot sun. Its such a tingly, great feeling! It made me want to go lounge in the grass and soak up as much as possible.

Days like this make me wish I were a kitty! lol

Happy hump day everyone. I hope your week is going well.

It's been a pretty quiet day here and I'm thankful. I've spent all day making preparations for tomorrow's turkey day. No family here, just some friends. I'm fine with that. More than fine actually, but oh well. We're all allowed to be a little selfish once in a while. George's mom is pissed, which is par for the course, but there is a point in time where you have to draw a line and say I'm not going to let her bother me.

Luckily, staying home and doing little was George's idea and I don't get the *real* blame for that.

Let's see.. what have I done so far..
Mashed potatoes
Sweet potatoes
Spinach
Carrots
Stuffing
butternut squash
broccoli
Made cranberry sauce

I also made apple, pumpkin and pecan pies from scratch.

Tomorrow I'm doing the turkey making gravy and... there's something I'm forgetting..

Oh well it will come to me. Hope you all have a wonderful day tomorrow, whatever you do.

1. I'm really tired of boxes. Granted there is only a few left from George's move, I'm sick of seeing moving boxes. If I ever move again it will be too soon. Maybe it's just that I got spoiled with having most of my stuff fit in my car. There wasn't a whole bunch to pack/unpack.

2. I've been really grouchy lately. No one to blame really. I'm not sure what's going on. I think it's the meds they recently put me on to ease the inflamation in my back.

3. I've been really busy setting up fliers and mailers for George's work. The 10 year note went inverted last week and all the interest rates are dropping so it's time to move in on the old clients. Before last week, rates were looking around at 8.something percent. Now this week we're seeing 5.73.. so that's a good thing.

4. My birthday is next week! I'll be a ripe old 27.. but the following week George will be 32.. Yay for October Birthdays!

5. I have always been skeptic about chiropractors, but 2 weeks ago I said what they hey and went... Oh My God! Wow. I've had sex that doesn't compare to having your back straightened out. Okay.. TMI I'm sure.. but I'm serious. They good part about it is I'm actually seeing a difference in the problems I was having before. My posture is better. My pain is less and I'm not having so much tingly feelings in my leg.
